Sepira is made by Mehmet Ozay. This page says what the app collects, where your photographs go, and how to get rid of them. It describes what the app actually does, not what a template says.
The short version
To repair a photograph the app has to send it to a server — the work cannot be done on the phone. Your photograph is uploaded to our storage, passed to an image processing provider, and the result is sent back to you. We do not sell anything, we do not show adverts, we do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not use your photographs to train any model.
Your photographs
When you restore, colourise, enhance or animate a picture, the file is uploaded to Firebase Storage (Google) and then sent to fal.ai, the provider that runs the image models. fal.ai processes the image and returns a result, which we store so it appears in your history.
Both the original and the result stay in your account until you delete them. Deleting an item from History removes it. Deleting your account removes all of them.
We do not look at your photographs, and they are not used to train models.
Your account
The app signs you in automatically so your history and your credits follow you. The account is anonymous: we do not ask for your name, your email address or your phone number, and we never see your Apple ID.
To recognise you the app stores one random identifier in your iCloud Keychain. It is created on your device, it contains nothing about you, and it is what lets your credits survive reinstalling the app or moving to a new phone. It is also how we make sure the free starting credits are given once per person rather than once per installation.
Purchases
Payment is handled by Apple. We never see your card details. RevenueCat records which credit packs you have bought so the app knows how many credits you have. There is no subscription.
Diagnostics
Firebase Crashlytics reports crashes so failures can be found and fixed. These reports contain device model, operating system version and where in the code the crash happened. They do not contain your photographs.
A failed restoration is also recorded here with the reason it failed. Without that, a job that quietly returns nothing leaves no trace anywhere and cannot be fixed.
Usage measurement
Firebase Analytics records which features are used and how long a restoration takes: that a job started, which of the four tools it was, whether it finished or failed, how many seconds it took, and that the credits screen was opened.
That is the whole list. Your photographs, your identifier, your location and anything you type are not part of it.
We do not track you and we do not use an advertising identifier. The app deliberately ships the version of Firebase Analytics that has advertising support removed, so the identifier is not collected even by accident. Nothing is shared with data brokers or advertising networks.
Abuse prevention
Firebase App Check, using Apple's App Attest, confirms that a request really comes from this app on a genuine device before our servers do the work. Each restoration costs us money at the image provider, so without this check anyone could run up the bill from outside the app. App Attest returns a yes-or-no answer to Apple's servers; it does not identify you.
Who else is involved
- Apple — sign-in and payments.
- Google Firebase — accounts, database, file storage, crash reporting, usage measurement, abuse prevention.
- fal.ai — image processing.
- RevenueCat — credit purchases.
Each one receives only what it needs to do its part.
Children
Sepira is not for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If a child's data has reached us, write and it will be removed.
Your rights
You can see your photographs in History, delete any of them, and delete your account with everything in it. If you would rather ask, write to the address below and it will be done.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that matters will be announced in the app.
