Terms of Use

Last updated 3 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Mehmet Ozay, the individual who makes Sepira. Using the app means accepting them.

These Terms of Use are the Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (EULA) for Sepira. They apply to every copy obtained through the Apple App Store. Your use of the app is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

What the app does

Sepira repairs damaged photographs: it removes scratches, tears, creases and stains, adds colour to black and white pictures, sharpens blurred scans, and can generate a short, subtle motion from a single portrait.

Processing happens on a server, not on your phone, so an internet connection is required. Results are produced by machine learning models and vary; the app does not promise a particular outcome for a particular photograph.

Your photographs

Your photographs remain yours. By using the app you give us only the permission needed to process them — to upload, store and pass them to our processing provider so the app can do its work. We do not use them to train models and we do not share them for any other purpose.

You must have the right to upload what you upload. Do not use the app on images of other people without their agreement, and do not use it to create misleading images of real people.

Credits

Some processing is free; beyond that the app uses credits, which you buy in one-off packs through the App Store.

There is no subscription. Nothing renews automatically, you are never charged again without buying another pack, and credits do not expire.

Credits are for use inside the app. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. We cannot issue them. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Where consumer law in your country gives you a stronger right, that law applies.

Keeping the service honest

The app checks that requests come from a genuine copy of it on a genuine device, using Apple's App Attest. Every restoration costs us money at the image provider, so requests made from outside the app are refused.

The free starting credits are given once per person, recognised by an identifier stored in your iCloud Keychain. Reinstalling the app or moving to a new phone keeps your credits; it does not grant a second set. Deliberately working around this — faking the identifier, or automating account creation to collect free credits — is a breach of these terms and we may close the account.

What you may not do

Do not resell or redistribute the app, work around the credit system, use automated means to drive it, reverse engineer it, or use it to produce unlawful, deceptive or harmful images.

Availability

Features may change and processing may be interrupted by our providers. We try to keep it working, but the app is provided "as is" and "as available".

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You may stop at any time by deleting the app; delete your account if you also want the data gone. We may end access if these terms are broken.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.

Apple-Specific Terms (EULA)

To the extent that these Terms conflict with Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), Apple's EULA takes precedence with respect to Apple's responsibilities. The following terms apply specifically to your use of the app through Apple's platform:

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting the new version.
