01What the App does
KetoChef provides ketogenic recipes, helps you track your daily food intake, and recognises products and meals from photographs.
02Health disclaimer
The App does not provide medical advice. Its recipes, calorie figures and macronutrient calculations are for general information only and are not a substitute for assessment by a physician, dietitian or other health professional.
A ketogenic diet is not suitable for everyone. Consult your doctor before starting if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have diabetes or a kidney, liver, heart or pancreatic condition, if you have a history of disordered eating, or if you take regular medication.
Any decision you make based on information in the App is your own responsibility.
03Your account
Using the full App requires signing in with your Apple or Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity carried out through it.
You can delete your account at any time from within the App: Profile › Account › Delete account. Deletion cannot be undone.
04Subscriptions and payment
Part of the App is free; the rest requires a “Pro” subscription.
- Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- The renewal charge is taken within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings: Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions.
- Where a free trial is offered, the subscription continues as a paid one if you do not cancel before the trial ends.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple. We cannot issue refunds through the App; requests must be made to Apple.
05Free usage limits
Free accounts are subject to daily limits and to one-time allowances that do not renew. These limits may change without prior notice. Fair-use limits may also apply to Pro subscriptions in order to prevent abuse.
06AI-generated content
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate recipes and to read photographs. These outputs can be wrong or incomplete. In particular:
- Nutrition values calculated from a photo are estimates, not measurements.
- Label reading depends on what is printed on the packaging and can be misread.
- Review the ingredients and method of any AI-generated recipe before you cook it.
If you have an allergy, always rely on the product’s own label.
07Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App for any unlawful purpose;
- access the service with automated tools such as bots or scripts;
- reverse-engineer the service or attempt to circumvent usage limits;
- attempt to access another person’s account.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules.
08Intellectual property
The recipes, text, images, software and branding in the App belong to KetoChef. They may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially beyond your own personal use.
09Availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue the service at any time. If the service is discontinued entirely during a paid period, you may request a pro-rated refund through Apple.
10Limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of it. Our total liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the preceding twelve months.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under consumer law.
11Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you in the App of significant changes. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, with the courts of Istanbul having jurisdiction. Your mandatory rights as a consumer under the law of your own country are unaffected.
